Helen & Douglas House
EPR Touch Case Study
Helen & Douglas House provides hospice care for babies, children and teenagers in Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties. Every year, they need to raise £3m to care for terminally ill children at the hospice and at home. Eproductive is proud to have been working with Helen & Douglas House for more than 10 years to provide the retail systems they require to raise as much money as they can to help local terminally ill children.
As technology has changed, the need for an up-to-date EPOS system specifically for charity retailers has become more important than ever. So when it came to Helen & Douglas House reviewing their existing system and investing in their shops, the charity was keen to continue working with Eproductive to upgrade their tills to EPR Touch.
The installation and training of EPR Touch has been fantastically well-received – and has proven to be very simple to learn for the shop volunteers. The manager at their Burford shop said: “Everyone has picked up the training really easily and are loving the guides which were left at the end for us to use”.
Helen & Douglas House raises vital funds every year in Retail Gift Aid and it is anticipated that by switching to EPR Touch the extra benefits the system brings will make the Gift Aid process even more efficient. Digital donor sign-up, using tablets, makes it easy for donors to sign up away from the till point and removes the need for paper processes. Checking and updating email addresses for returning donors ensures costs are minimised, and donors are given a quick online method of changing their own details to aid HMRC compliance.
