Eproductive at the heart of ‘Managing the workforce’ symposium

For the past 18 months the University of Surrey – in collaboration with Eproductive – has been managing a prestigious research project examining key productivity issues in the hotel sector.

The project has been made possible by the award of a £250,000 grant to the University of Surrey’s School of Hospitality and Tourism by the Economic and Social Research Council. The culmination of the project with the presentation of key findings was a symposium at the Millennium Mayfair Hotel on 2nd June.

Chris Cowls, Eproductive CEO & Visiting Professor at the University of Surrey and Janet Gray, Project Manager addressed the symposium as did other members of the project team from the University. Other speakers included Ufi Ibrahim, CEO of the British Hospitality Association, Peter Ducker, CEO of the Institute of Hospitality and Martin-Christian Kent, Executive Director at People 1st.
